Larry DeLuca (President) - ER doc by afternoon, writer/composer/performer by night, After attending MIT in 1982-1984, Larry worked for sevearl years, and finally got his undergraduate degree in Songwriting and Music Production/Engineering from Berklee College of Music in 1996.  During his time at MIT he had started both the MIT No-Frills Theater and the Tech Random Music Ensemble.   While most comfortable in the director's chair, he has been on stage, designed, produced, and even printed tickets.  His directorial credits include “The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window,” (MIT TRME, 1987) “Into the Woods,” (Berklee, 1993) “Dark of the Moon,” (MIT No-Frills Theater, 1984) and “The Fantasticks," (MIT No-Frills Theater, 1984) as well a reading of “Equus,” a staged reading of “Specific Overtures” (Dramatists Guild DG Footlights Series, 2024), and numerous one-act plays.  He was choreographer for Hair (MIT East Campus, 1986), and music director for “A Little Night Music” (MIT TRME, 1988).   He has performed with the MIT Musical Theater Guild and MIT Dramashop (1983-1984), as the Baker in “Into the Woods” (Berklee, 1993), and Saul in “Specific Overtues” (2024).  He has written three musicals (book, lyrics, and music):  “Songs About an Election” (2018), “Memories of Bletchley Park” (2019), and “Specific Overtures” (2023).  He is an avid singer/songwriter, and his music can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube (including some music videos) and other platforms.

 

When he's not doing any of that he's seeing patients in the Emergency Departments of the UA/Banner hospitals in Tucson, traveling around the world, going to the gym, studying foreign languages, playing Legend of Zela, watching movies, gardening, or playing with his dogs.  His plan when he grows up is to retire so he has more time to do all the things he enjoys besides work.

JT Dang (Secretary) - JT has worn many hats over the years - nurse, engineer, and now singer/actor.  Discovered at a Karaoke night several years ago, he began his journey toward the stage as an actor and a singer.  He is a true basso profundo with a range spanning nearly four octaves.  His most recent appearance was as Eddie in “Specific Overtures.”  He chose his own working uniform.

Tuan Vo (Treasurer) - Tuan is actually Dr. Vo - a family practice physician based in Tucson.  He also sings with Reveille Men's Chorus.  His most recent stage appearance was Toshi in “Specific Overtures.”
